Biciclown - Zikra Initiative

Through the Zikra Initiative Biciclown visits the Children of Ghor Al Mazra'a During the Festive Season Amman, December 23, 2007; The children and families of Ghor Al Mazra'a enjoyed the comic performance of Alvaro Neil, the Spanish biciclown (www.biciclown.com), who travels the world to bring happiness and put smiles on children's faces. The event, organized by the Zikra initiative took place December 23, 2007. And is part of an international performance presented to children around the world and different cultures. Neil, a lawyer, from Madrid, began his biciclown project four years ago and continues to do so for the next seven years. "The event is in line with the Zikra initiative's goals to spread happiness and bridge the gap between the Ghor community and other cultures" says Zikra founder Rabee' Zureikat. "Through this event, the children of Al Ghor will get the chance to learn and enjoy new ideas especially since it is the first time the children experience such an event."
