Feb 2007 China's booming economy and hectic speed of life is transforming the way people find love. Efficient internet dates and 'love seminars' are changing the way people romance. "Ours is a very economic way of dating. In two hours, you get to meet so many people", explains Sun Xio, host of a speed dating night. Teacher Du runs romance seminars where he encourages his students to be more direct. And for the more traditional, there are meetings where parents can swap photos of their children. As one mother states: "My son is quite shy. We are very anxious because he's already 35".
